The Best Bernedoodle Breeders in Alaska (AK)
We’ve found some honest and transparent Bernedoodle breeders in Alaska you can take into account when adopting your new pet.
The Courtney family runs Dela Doodles, and they’re located in Anchorage, Alaska, and is certainly one of the best Bernedoodle breeders in Alaska. They decided to have their first dog in 2015. Since then, they have decided to expand the joy that the Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles have brought to their lives with the rest of the world. They offer Mountaindoodles as well.
At first, you’ll have to submit a $1,500 deposit to confirm your place on the waitlist (this sum will be subtracted from the total fee). Based on the litter that caught your eye, the prices start at $3,000 and go up to $5,000. However, first, you’ll have to submit an application – which can be found on their website.
All puppies are given to all the families once they turn 8 weeks. Before that, you’ll be added to a message group where you will be able to chat with all the other families interested in adopting a puppy from that litter. You will receive constant updates about the state of the mother and your puppy through this chat, too.
Your new pup will come with all of its vaccinations and will be dewormed. Furthermore, Dela Doodles offers a 2-year health guarantee against all genetic diseases. Furthermore, you’ll have 30-day pet insurance. It’s also worth noting that a licensed veterinarian will be in charge of your puppy even before it is born!
AK Mountain Doodles
AK Mountain Doodles is located in Palmer, Alaska. The Carter family is in charge of the business, and by the way, they’re a pretty big family – they have nine children!
The family raises mini-Aussie Bernedoodles, mini-Goldendoodles, and mini-Aussie Goldendoodles. All of these breeds are excellent for family homes due to their gentle, smart nature, little to non-shedding coat, and hypoallergenic characteristics.
Thanks to the big family and the spacious environment, you can be sure that your pup will be appropriately socialized from a very young age.
It’s also worth noting that each puppy has a different price. For instance, they have two mini-Aussie Bernedoodles available at the moment at $3,500 and $4,000, respectively (as of December 11, 2021). At first, you’ll have to submit a non-refundable $500 deposit (some exceptions apply), which will be subtracted from the total fee.
You’ll be allowed to choose your puppy once it turns 3 weeks, approximately. If you’ve reserved a puppy, you will be able to schedule a visit. All puppies come with their first vaccinations, are dewormed and microchipped. AK Mountain Doodles offers a 1-year warranty at the moment. You will also receive a starter food bag and a blanket or toy with the litter’s scent.
If possible, AK Mountain Doodles will send you the pup via airline for $600.
